Using it from your phone

In plain terms: your brain is most useful when it is in your pocket. By adding it to the Claude app as a connector, you can ask it anything from your phone: before a meeting, in the car, anywhere. This is the feature that makes it feel like a product rather than a desk tool.

  • Ask the brain anything from the Claude mobile app.
  • Pull up a person’s profile before you walk into a room.
  • Capture and recall on the go.

The brain runs a secure connection that the Claude app can talk to. You add it once as a custom connector and sign in with your approved account; from then on it shows up in the Claude app under your login. Sign-in is restricted to approved accounts, so only you can reach your brain.

  • The brain must be reachable when your computer is off, which means it runs somewhere always-on: either an always-on computer at home exposed securely, or a cloud-hosted setup. A laptop that sleeps cannot answer your phone.
  • Phone access requires an always-on brain. A purely local, sometimes-asleep laptop brain is not reachable on the go.
  • Some background “memory” features that need an always-on Mac (like text memory) are separate from phone access; you can have phone access without them and vice versa.
  • Cloud deploy (the always-on, phone-reachable path)
